There aren't many, but they still need to be followed.
1. Be nice! This is so important. We welcome writers of all ages and stages of development. Do not offer a critique if it is not requested - and if it is requested, make sure to temper your comments with both positives and negatives.
Example of good crit: I think you've got a great foundation here, with interesting characters, but there are a few things that need work, in my opinion...
What you could try instead of x is y, because it...
Example of bad crit: Holy crap, this sucks. I can't believe anybody would come up with something this stupid!
You don't have anything redeemable in this story at all. You really should just hang it up, because you stink!
I think we all get it.
2. No spamming. We want you to post as much as you like, but posting the same topic on multiple boards and linking to yourself or works on any board besides the link board is really just rude, don't you think?
Yeah, that about covers it. I told you it wouldn't be too painful.
